Manual Therapy for Back & Neck Pain | Tallinn

Manual therapy in Tallinn

I use a gentle, patient-focused approach without aggressive techniques or forceful manipulations.

Instead of relying on sudden adjustments or joint cracking, I use comfortable hands-on techniques designed to reduce tension, improve mobility, restore natural movement, and help the body function more efficiently.

Each treatment is tailored to your individual needs, movement patterns, and physical condition, with the goal of addressing the underlying cause of pain and dysfunction rather than simply masking symptoms.

When is manual therapy recommended?

Manual therapy may be helpful if you experience:

Lower back pain or general back pain

 Chronic headaches

 Acute or chronic neck pain

 Sciatic nerve pain

 Osteochondrosis

 Various spine-related conditions

Pain or limited mobility in the shoulder or hip joints

Poor recovery after training, physical overload, or injuries

This is often not “just tiredness”.

It may be a sign that the body’s movement system is not working properly.

Why does pain keep coming back?

Most people repeat the same cycle:

● massage → temporary relief → pain returns after a week

● exercises → short-term improvement → symptoms come back

● painkillers → symptoms are reduced → the root cause remains

The real problem is not always the pain itself.

The problem is often an imbalance between muscles, joints, posture, and movement patterns.

What is the difference between gentle manual therapy and chiropractic therapy?

This is not about forceful adjustments or “cracking” the spine.

It is a precise and comfortable approach focused on helping the body function better by:

● reducing excessive muscle tension

● restoring joint mobility

● improving natural movement patterns

Answers to your questions before booking

🟢 Is it painful? No. I use gentle techniques without aggressive manipulations or forceful joint cracking. Most clients experience relaxation and improved comfort during the session rather than pain. 🟢 How many sessions will I need? It depends on your individual situation. Some people experience significant relief after just 1–2 sessions, while longer-lasting results may require a series of treatments. 🟢 Will I notice a difference after the first session? In most cases, yes. Many clients notice reduced tension, improved mobility, and greater comfort after their first appointment. 🟢 How is this different from massage? Massage primarily focuses on muscles and soft tissues. Manual therapy addresses the entire movement system: muscles + joints + movement patterns. This often leads to more lasting improvements in function and mobility. 🟢 Do you adjust or "crack" the spine? No. I do not perform forceful spinal manipulations or aggressive adjustments. My approach focuses on restoring normal function through gentle techniques that improve the way muscles and joints work together. 🟢 Are there any contraindications? Yes, as with any form of therapy. Before treatment, I assess your condition and identify any factors that may require modifications to ensure the treatment is safe and appropriate. 🟢 What should I bring to the appointment? Comfortable clothing and a positive attitude. Everything else is provided on-site. 🟢 Do I need to do exercises? Yes. When appropriate, I provide simple exercises to help maintain the results and support long-term improvement.
